The high school football postseason continues tonight with sectional semifinal action. Batesville travels to Franklin County in Class 3A Sectional 30. We’ll have that contest on 103.9 FM and the WRBI app starting with pregame at 6:45. Terrance Arney and Tom Snape will have the call…East Central is at Seymour in Class 5A Sectional 14. Rob Moorhead and Jerry Stenger will call it on WRBI radio.com and the WRBI app beginning with pregame at 7:10.

Elsewhere, Greensburg is at Lawrenceburg…North Decatur is home against Eastern Greene…and Milan goes to West Washington.

The North Decatur at Lawrenceburg girls basketball game scheduled for next Saturday has been moved to January 25. The JV game will tipoff at Noon. The date change is because the Lawrenceburg girls soccer team is playing for the Class 2A state title against Mishawaka Marian tomorrow afternoon.

Today is the last day to nominate someone for the newly-established South Ripley Athletic Hall of Fame. Up to eight members will be selected for induction in the inaugural class in 2025. Those inductees will be recognized during a ceremony at a varsity basketball game this winter. You can complete the nomination form by clicking here.

And don’t forget: the 10th annual Garrett’s Gang Basketball Camp is set November 23 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Batesville High School auxiliary gym. Any boy or girl between the ages of 12 and 22 (with campers over 22 accepted as space allows) are invited, along with special needs campers. The camp will offer instruction on basketball fundamentals, stressing improvement, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  The camp will be directed by Batesville High School coaches and players. The cost of the camp is free and includes instruction, a T-Shirt, and a basketball. The deadline to register is two weeks from today.

In the NBA, the Pacers visit the Pelicans tonight. Tipoff in New Orleans is at 8.
