Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in last week’s 33-31 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chase set a Bengals single-game record with 16 receptions for 161 yards and one touchdown to help lead Cincinnati to a divisional victory on Thursday Night Football. This is Chase’s fifth career AFC Offensive Player of the Week award…
Chase was also voted FedEx Air Player of the Week. As voted on by the fans, the FedEx Ground Player of the Week award goes to Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor. He ran for 94 yards and three touchdowns in the Colts 38-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday.
Former Bengal Willie Anderson and former Colts Reggie Wayne, Robert Mathis and Adam Vinatieri are among 52 candidates who have moved on to the next stage for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Modern Era Class of 2026. The Hall will whittle its list of nominees down to 25 semifinalists later this fall.
