Jac-Cen-Del topped Milan 56-32 in girls high school basketball heard last night on the Sports Voice. The Eagles’ Brooklyn Simon led all scorers with 26 points. Teammate Tinley Enneking added 13. Brynlie Simon pulled down 10 rebounds. The Indians were led by Emma Voss, who scored eight points. JCD improves to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the ORVC. Milan falls to 0-5 and 0-2.

Class 4A #11 East Central rolled over Columbus East 55-27. Lilly Maple led EC with 16 points while Natalie Stenger added 1o. The Trojans are now 4-0 on the year.

St. Louis got past Greendale 21-20 in boys 6th grade basketball last night. The Cardinals improve to 4-1 on the year.

The Indiana Pacers snapped their eight-game losing streak by defeating the Charlotte Hornets 127-118 in NBA action heard last night on WRBI. Bennedict Mathurin led Indiana with a double double: 24 points and 12 rebounds. The Pacers are now 2-13, and will visit Cleveland in NBA Cup Group play tomorrow night.

Cincinnati Bengals Ring of Honor member Ken Anderson is again one of nine Senior Category semifinalists for induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Anderson has reached the semis for the fourth straight year. He is the only eligible quarterback with four NFL passing titles who is not in the Hall of Fame. The Seniors Committee meets next week to select three finalists. The final vote takes place in January, but the results will not be announced until the night before the Super Bowl.
