The Reds locked up the Ohio Cup for 2025 with a 7-4 victory in Cleveland in a game heard last night on WRBI. It’s Cincinnati’s first Ohio Cup since 2014. Wade Miley, making his first start since returning from Tommy John surgery, gave up five hits and three earned runs in five innings of work to get the win. Emilio Pagan notched his 16th save. Jake Fraley went 3 for 4 at the plate with a home run; Will Benson was 2 for 3, and T.J. Friedl had two hits including a homer. The Reds look to make it five straight wins tonight when they send Andrew Abbott to the mound. The Guardians counter with Slade Ceconni. Coverage begins at 6:10 on 103.9 FM.

NFL Network is reporting the Cincinnati Bengals are releasing linebacker and team captain Germaine Pratt. By releasing the six year veteran, the team will save $5.6 million in salary cap space for 2025. Pratt led the Bengals in tackles last season with 143, which was 10th-best in the NFL.

The Indianapolis Colts announced details on the transition of team ownership from late Owner & CEO Jim Irsay to his daughters Carlie Irsay-Gordon, Casey Foyt and Kalen Jackson. Irsay-Gordon becomes owner and CEO; Foyt will become owner and executive vice president, and Jackson will be owner/chief brand officer and president of the Indianapolis Colts Foundation. All three have served as Colts Vice Chair since 2012. Jim Irsay died last month at the age of 65.

Game Three of the NBA Finals is tomorrow night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder are tied at one game apiece in the best-of-seven series. Indiana head coach Rick Carlisle says his team has to rebound, get stops, and score in the paint in order to be able to get back up on the Thunder. The Pacers are five-point underdogs for the third game of the series. Tipoff tomorrow night is at 8:30-eastern. WRBI coverage begins at 8 p.m.

The Indiana Fever are still without Caitlin Clark in the lineup as she remains out with an injured quad. The Fever will take on the Atlanta Dream this evening as they look for their third win in a row. Still, Clark has been able to get back into some practice, says head coach Stephanie White. She said they will be “intentional” with Clark’s return. Sophie Cunningham is also unavailable tonight as she remains sidelined with a leg injury.

The Indianapolis Indians are looking to build off their recent victory. After taking down the Redbirds in their series finale on Sunday, Indianapolis is hosting the Saint Paul Saints for a seven-game set that begins tonight. The Indians are eight games back of the top record in the International League.
