Class 1A #6 Oldenburg Academy beat Indian Creek 57-49 in girls basketball last night.  Gina Grote led the Twisters with 21 points; Norah Haverkos notched a double double: 17 points and 13 rebounds, and Claire Niese added 10 points. With the win, coach David Disbro’s Twisters improve to 18-3. They’ll wrap up the regular season against Switzerland County tonight at the Hillenbrand Family Feldhaus.

The Indiana Pacers knocked off the Chicago Bulls 113-110 in NBA action heard last night on the Sports Voice. Paskal Siakam led Indiana with 22 points while Andrew Nembhard added 20. The Pacers have won two of their last three games, and are back in action Saturday night at home against Atlanta.

In college basketball involving teams around the state last night, St. John’s rolled over Butler 92-70 inside Madison Square Garden. The loss snaps the Bulldogs’ three-game winning streak. They were led by Michael Ajayi’s double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds. The Bulldogs fall to 13-and-8

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has been added to the AFC roster for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games. This marks Higgins first career Pro Bowl selection. Higgins replaces Baltimore’s Zay Flowers, and joins teammate and fellow wideout Ja’Marr Chase on the AFC squad. The 2026 Pro Bowl Games will be played next Tuesday night in San Francisco.
