Greensburg knocked off Class 2A #1 South Ripley 52-45 in boys basketball heard last night on the Sports Voice. The Pirates go to 12- 9 while the Raiders taste defeat for the first time this year, and fall to 19-1. Jack McKinsey and Jacoby Miller led Greensburg with 14 points a piece while South Ripley’s Cole Henry led all scorers with 25.

Coming up tonight, East Central hosts Class 4A #4 Greenfield-Central on WRBI. The Cougars are led by UConn commit and the front runner for Indiana Mr. Basketball, senior Braylon Mullins. Coverage begins around 7:15 on 103.9 FM, wrbiradio.com and the WRBI app.

In other action, Batesville hops the bus to South Decatur; Franklin County welcomes in Connersville; South Ripley visits Rising Sun; Milan entertains Hauser; Jac-Cen-Del is at Switzerland County; North Decatur visits Southwestern (Shelby), and Oldenburg Academy goes to Rushville.

In the NBA, the Pacers beat the Memphis Grizzlies 127-113 last night in downtown Indianapolis. Tyrese Haliburton led Indiana with 22 points. Seton Catholic grad Desmond Bane had a game-high 23 points while former Purdue star Zach Edey scored five and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Grizzlies. The Pacers improve to 31-23 on the season and will be back in action Sunday at home against the Los Angeles Clippers.
