South Ripley topped South Dearborn 61-45 in boys basketball heard last night on the Sports Voice. The Raiders’ Drew Volz led all scorers with 19 points. Teammate Blake Gunter recorded a double double: 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Eli Gilpin added 10. Wyatt Adams led the visiting Knights with 14 points, and Scout Gray contributed 11. With the win, South Ripley improves to 15-5. South Dearborn falls to 12-5.
Elsewhere around the area, it was Oldenburg Academy over Union County 54-46; Centerville hammered Franklin County 74-39; Triton Central bounced Greensburg 53-30; Hauser walloped Jac-Cen-Del 93-44, and Waldron edged South Decatur 59-55.

The Batesville Middle School 8th Grade boys basketball team has received an invitation to play at Assembly Hall in Bloomington tomorrow afternoon as part of the Hawks in the Hall Tournament. Batesville will face Providence at noon, followed by games against Loogootee and St. Charles of Bloomington. The consolation game is at 2:00 and championship action will be at 3. Admission is $5 and fans are asked to park in the south lot by Assembly Hall and enter at the southwest doors in front of the building.
The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will be played early tomorrow evening in Los Angeles. Paskal Siakam will be the Indiana Pacers’ lone representative.
