Batesville went on the road and defeated Rushville 51-38 in boys basketball heard last night on the Sports Voice. The Bulldogs run their winning streak to eight games. Batesville’s James Hughes led all scorers with 22 points while Cade Kaiser added 11. The Bulldogs improve to 12-7 overall and 4-2 in the EIAC.
Elsewhere around the area last night, Connersville knocked off East Central 41-35, and it was North Decatur over Jac-Cen-Del in overtime, 50-46.
