The Denver Nuggets knocked off the Indiana Pacers 135-120 in NBA action last night in downtown Indianapolis. Paskal Siakam led Indiana with 23 points. The 4-18 Pacers are back on the court tomorrow night at Chicago.
The Cincinnati Reds and free agent pitcher Emilio Pagan have agreed to terms on a two-year, $20 million contract, according to MLB.com. The deal includes the ability for Pagan to opt out after the 2026 season. As the Reds primary closer in 2025, Pagan posted a career-high and second best in Major League Baseball 32 saves with a 2.88 ERA in 7o appearances.
Former Bengals quarterback Ken Anderson is one of three finalists in the Seniors category for the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026. Anderson, the 1981 NFL MVP and four-time league passing champion, previously reached the semifinal stage in four consecutive years. The final vote to select the 2026 Class takes place in January, but the outcome will not be announced until the night before Super Bowl LX.
Cincinnati Bengals kicker Evan McPherson has been named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the team’s 32-14 win at Baltimore in Week 13. McPherson went a perfect six-for-six on field goal attempts and two-for-two on PATs to account for 20 points in the Thanksgiving Night victory. His six made field goals were a career high, the most by any kicker in the NFL this season and tied for the second-most in a game in Bengals history.
The Indianapolis Colts have signed kicker Blake Grupe following the release of Michael Badgley on Tuesday. Grupe spent the past two-and-a-half seasons kicking for the New Orleans Saints. He appeared in 11 games this year before he was released by New Orleans last week.
