In Week Six high school football last night, Lawrenceburg shut out Batesville 24-0…East Central hammered South Dearborn 45-0…It was Franklin County over Greensburg 36-7…Milan blanked Eastern Hancock 8-0…and Rushville got past Lapel 18-6.

The Connersville at North Decatur game has been moved to 3:00 this afternoon.

And the South Decatur at Cloverdale game was canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Best of luck to local girls’ golf teams and individuals taking part in today’s IHSAA Franklin Community regional at the Legends Golf Club. Batesville, East Central and Greensburg plus Annie Hoff and Audrey Mears from Franklin County will be among those looking to advance to next weekend’s state finals.

The Reds lost to the Cubs 1-0 yesterday in Chicago. Game two of the series is this afternoon. Coverage begins at 1:50 on 103.9 WRBI.

In college football today, 4-0 Indiana entertains Maryland, Purdue welcomes in Nebraska, Louisville is at Notre Dame, UC visits Texas Tech, Kentucky is at #6 Ole Miss, Ball State goes to James Madison, Indiana State is home against Houston Christian, and Butler plays host to Virginia-Lynchburg.

In the NFL, the Bengals take on Andy Dalton and the Carolina Panthers on the road tomorrow, and the Colts entertain the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both games kick off at 1:00.

And the NASCAR Cup series playoffs continue tomorrow at Kansas Speedway.
