Batesville, IN — One of the newest shelters at Liberty Park in Batesville is actually a recycled piece. Previously, it was a shelter at the city’s old dump that was disassembled, moved, reassembled, and installed by the Batesville Park & Recreation Department.
Another portion of the old shelter was moved to Brum Woods. The city is looking for sponsors for the shelter to help fund concrete sidewalks and a pad for the shelter itself.
