Versailles, IN—Thursday, several school corporations attended the countywide school safety committee meeting by Ripley County EMS (RCEMS), along with the Ripley County Health Department (RCHD) at the Southeastern Career Center. RCEMS along with the RCHD had identified grant dollars to purchase bleeding control kits or ‘Stop the Bleed’ (STB) kits for school corporations throughout Ripley County.
Each school corporation in attendance took back five bleeding control kits for each of their buildings. The remainder of the kits will be distributed soon.
