South Ripley placed 3rd in the Ripley County Tournament vs 9th-ranked Batesville, Jac-Cen-Del, and Milan. South Ripley competed without their leader, Lilly Jones. The girls had to step up and improve on their scores and even though scores are higher than they would like, small progress was made tonight.
Aliyah Grigsby was able to post her season-best score of 65 as well as Kaleigh Bearden with a 66. Callie Comer was able to lead the Raiders with a 63. The Raiders play tomorrow at Belterra Casino.
Batesville had the clean sweep winning both the team county trophy and all 5 medals for top scorers of the match.
JCD placed 2nd, and Milan was unable to post a complete team score. A player dropped out due to sickness during the match.
