South Ripley returned home for the first time in over a month Tuesday night, hosting Switzerland County in a memorable conference matchup. Sponsored by the United States National Guard, the evening began with a heartfelt recognition of military veterans before tip-off.
The Raiders delivered a strong performance on the court, securing a 58-34 victory to improve their season record to 7-6. Claire Samples and Kaiya Rinear led the charge, each scoring 19 points. Katie Miller added 7 points, while Aubrey Werner contributed 6. Lexi Franklin chipped in 4 points, with Kinley Demaree and Illana Prosser rounding out the scoring with 2 and 1 point, respectively.
The Junior Varsity squad fell short in their contest, bringing their overall record to 7-5.
