In a game heard on WRBI Friday night, South Decatur lost in a close one at home to Waldron 56-54.
The Mohawks hit a shot with around three seconds left to take the lead. South Decatur’s last second three-point attempt missed the mark, dropping the Cougars’ record to 9-11 on the season.
The leading scorers for South Decatur in the game were Dorian Hacker and Dale Peters, with 14 points each.
