Sonya J. Smith, age 37 of Greensburg, died Monday, March 23, 2020 at her home. Born November 1, 1982 in Batesville, she is the daughter Tonya (Nee: Faulkner) Mullins and Anthony Kelley. She worked as an LPN at the Hickory Creek Health Care in Greensburg.
Sonya always put others needs before hers. She loved being a nurse and caring for people, but her most rewarding role was being a mother. She had recently started making jewelry, specifically bracelets, and apparently had a weakness for shopping on Wish.com.
Sonya is survived by her husband Steven; daughters Gabriella, Jasmine and Ayriana Smith; sons Matthew Schoettmer, Zavier and Zachery Smith; sister Jessica Kelley of Morris; brother Jeremey Kelley of New Point; mother Tonya Mullins of Metamora and father Tony Kelley of Batesville.
Sonya’s wishes were to be cremated following a private viewing. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
