Sonia Dianne Beebe

Sonia Dianne Beebe, 69, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away Thursday April 1, 2021 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.

She was born December 6, 1951 in Arab, AL, daughter of the late Afton Garrett and Lillian (Waldrop) Garrett.

Dianne worked as a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service, retiring with over 15 years of service.

She was a member of Aurora First Baptist Church. Her faith was very important to her, and she read many faith based books.

Dianne loved to paint, especially freehand. She also enjoyed making jewelry. She was a very talented artist. She enjoyed being outside and was always working in her flower garden. She loved traveling with her husband of 35 years, especially visiting Boro Boro.

Dianne is survived by her loving spouse of 35 years, Nicholas Beebe; children, Scott Ashbrook of Rising Sun, IN., Sonia (Jeff) McBride of Lawrenceburg, IN; siblings, Gail (Larry) Cook of Coleman, AL, Donnie Garrett of Arab, AL; grandchildren, Maria Dianne Ashbrook of Rising Sun, IN, Alyssa Manis of Harrison, OH, Coty Manis of Lawrenceburg, IN, Riley McBride of Lawrenceburg, IN, and Dillon McBride of Lawrenceburg, IN; great-granddaughter, Lila Ashbrook; and caregiver, Lisa Slack of Lawrenceburg, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Garrett and his wife, her best friend Mary Jo Garrett.

Friends will be received Wednesday, April 7, 2021, 12:00 – 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Aurora, 6060 Blair Road, Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bill Secrest officiating.

Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
