Some Sunman-Dearborn students moving to eLearning/Hybrid learning

Sunman, IN — In a letter to parents and guardians of students at Sunman- Dearborn Community School Corporation, due to the moderate to high community spread of COVID-19, students in grades 6-12 will begin eLearning starting Monday, November 16.

Starting November 30, students in grades 6-12 will move to hybrid learning through the end of this term.  This means the students will attend school 2 days a week as assigned and have eLearning on Mondays. Students in grades K-5 will continue traditional school at this time according to Superintendent Dr. Andrew Jackson. Extracurricular activities will continue at this time, but spectators will be limited.

Students will have meals available to them on the following schedule:
November 18th: 8:30 am – 9:30 am at ECHS (7 breakfasts and 7 lunches)
November 30th: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at ECHS (3 breakfasts and 3 lunches)
December 7th: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at ECHS (3 breakfasts and 3 lunches)
December 14th: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at ECHS (3 breakfasts and 3 lunches)

Any student in grades 6 through 12 that is choosing to participate in meal service is asked to complete a form (click here).
