Lawrenceburg, IN —Firefighters from Lawrenceburg, Greendale,
and Aurora responded to the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center shortly after 9:00 last night on a report of smoke in the jail area.
The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office said that the source of the smoke was a cold air return.
There was no damage to the building and there were no injuries reported among jail staff or inmates.
