(Batesville, IN) – St. Louis Catholic School students were treated to a performance by the Epiphany Dance Collective on Friday, October 18.
Performers – including dancers, drummers and storytellers – shared dances, songs and tales that were rich in African customs and culture.
SLS students were asked to participate in the drumming and dancing while the performers explained African traditions that are tied to dances and songs.
The event was made possible through the funding provided to the school by the Batesville Area Arts Council.
