SIMBA Elects New Leaders

(Southeastern IN) – The Southeast Indiana Mountain Bike Association (SIMBA) is excited to announce the results of its recent leadership elections and appointments, held during the annual winter meeting on Saturday, January 25, 2025. This meeting marked an important milestone for SIMBA as the organization continues its mission to promote mountain biking and trail stewardship across Southeast Indiana.

The newly elected and appointed leadership team is as follows:

  • President: Kellie Lockwood
  • Vice President: Larry Selvidge
  • Secretary: Sue Baer
  • Treasurer: Jeff Baer

Additionally, SIMBA welcomes a five-member Board of Directors, elected to guide the organization’s vision and initiatives. The new board members include:

  • Breanna Evans
  • Brian Borgmann
  • Ben Pierson
  • Marc Laker
  • Jeff Binzen

Continuing in their vital roles are:

  • Trail Steward: Dave Lockwood
  • Equipment Manager: Luke Chilman

All positions carry a two-year term, and the SIMBA community is thrilled to see this talented and dedicated group of individuals step into these leadership roles.

SIMBA looks forward to continuing its work to expand and maintain mountain biking trails, organize events, and foster a vibrant, active outdoor community.
