Shirley Sue (Heninger) Itskin, 87, of Batesville, IN, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. She graduated from Palestine, IL, HS, and Vincennes University. She was a member of the Sunman Bible Church in Batesville, IN, and a retired Registered Nurse in Batesville, IN, and Flora, IL
Shirley was born on November 28, 1936, in Clay City, IL, to the late Roland and Wilma (Cannon) Heninger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Eugene Itskin; and siblings, Ronald Heninger, Nedra Bean Rauch, and Joann Phillips Lefler.
She is survived by her children, Randy (Beth) Itskin, Austin, TX; Brian (Judi) Itskin, Fallon, NV; Cyndi (Tim) Booth, Chattanooga, TN, and Kendra (John) Basler, Batesville, IN. Also 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Shirley loved the Lord with all her heart and was loved dearly by family and friends. May her earthly body rest in peace but may her heavenly body soar to the highest heights. We love you, Mom.
A Celebration of Shirley’s life was held on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Frank & Bright Funeral Home in Flora, IL. Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Xenia, IL.
