Greensburg, In. —Decatur County Sheriff Dave Durant is warning residents about the most recent phone scam involving suspects posing as agents from the Drug Enforcement Agency. Residents who have purchased drugs from online pharmacies in the past are told those transactions are illegal and are threatened with legal action.
Victims have also reported credit card fraud.
Officials say DEA agents will never call and demand money over the phone.
