Sheila Sue (Seaver) Maybrier, 75, of Milan passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. Sheila was born on Sunday, April 9, 1950, in Milan; daughter of Roberta (Jefferson) Neff. She married Harold Maybrier in December of 2003, and he preceded her in death in July of 2010. Sheila was a bus driver for SEIOC Head Start. She attended Moores Hill Church of Christ and loved to listen to Christian music. She also enjoyed spending time sitting by her goldfish pond at her home. Most of all Sheila dearly loved her family.
Sheila will be missed by her daughter Michelle (Roy) Mitchell of Carthage, New York; son Jerry Stoneking of Milan; stepson Hank Carter of Cleves; brother Kevin Fix; sister Teresa (Robert) Sharp of Aurora; and grandchildren Zaccary Bice, Jerrett Mitchell, and Serenity Mitchell, all of Carthage, New York.
Sheila was preceded in death by her mother Roberta Neff; husband Harold Maybrier; brother Dolan Seaver; half-brothers Paul and Mike Fix and Tony Neff; father of children Jerry Stoneking; and grandchildren Anthony and Christian Mitchell.
A celebration of Sheila’s life will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM, September 13, 2025, at her home: 124 S State Road 101 Milan, IN 47031. The family invites those in attendance to share their favorite memories of Sheila and to bring your favorite dish to share for a potluck. Memorials may be given in honor of Sheila to the donor’s choice.
