(Southeastern IN) – All four area counties saw significant increases in unemployment in January, according to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development
Decatur County was at 3.4%, up from 2.3% in December.
Dearborn County checked in at 3.9%, an increase from 2.7% the month before.
Franklin County was at 4.1% in January, which is up from 2.5%.
And Ripley County came in 4.3%, up 3.1% in December.
The state’s jobless rate in January was 3.5%.
