Man Arrested on Child Porn Possession Charges

(Jackson County, IN) – A Jackson County man was arrested Tuesday by Indiana State Police Detectives from the Versailles Post on multiple counts of Possession of Child Pornography following a three-month investigation.

A cybertip from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children started the investigation in December 2023. The tip was then forwarded to the Indiana ICAC Task Force to investigate, which led to a search warrant being served at a home on West U.S. 50 near Medora.

During the investigation, troopers say multiple images of suspected child pornography were found on social media accounts and electronic devices allegedly belonging to 19-year-old Paxston A. Allman of Medora.

Allman was arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail where he was booked on nine preliminary counts of Possession of Child Pornography. He will soon face an initial appearance in the Jackson County Circuit Court.

ISP detectives received assistance from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
