Sharon Evelyn (Palmer) Richardson, 72, of Milan, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021. She was born in Yorkville, Indiana on Monday, March 15, 1948 to Donald D. Palmer and Evelyn Lovins. Sharon was a member of Negangard Freewill Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning, and raising animals. Sharon spent many years as a foster parent as well.
Sharon is survived by her sons Donald Gene Huntington of New Castle, Indiana and Robert Lyn Huntington of Branchville, Indiana; daughter Teresa Vanwinkle of Rockville, Indiana; brothers Donnie Palmer of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Carl Palmer of Scottsburg, Indiana, Joe Palmer of Sunman, Robert Palmer of Madison, and Tim Palmer of Milan; sisters Judy Huntington of Osgood and Sandra Lyon of Rising Sun; four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Evelyn; son Ronald Huntington; and sister Bonnie Smith.
There will be no services at this time. Memorials may be given in honor of Sharon to any cause of the donor’s choice.
