Versailles, IN — Rescuers were called to a pair of multi-vehicle accidents Friday evening in the Versailles area.
One person was airlifted from a crash on US 421 near Michigan Road, while other victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The second accident took place at the intersection of State Road 129 and US 50.
One person had to be cut out of the wreckage and was sent to the hospital.
There’s no word on the names or conditions of any of the victims in either crash.
Agencies responding to both scenes include the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, Milan Police Department, Indiana State Police, Versailles Fire Rescue, New Marion Volunteer Fire Department, Ripley County EMS, and PHI Air Medical.
