Versailles, IN—Ripley County Clerk Ginger J. Bradford has announced that forms are available in the Clerk’s office for those wishing to declare candidacy for school board member candidates.
Batesville Community School Corporation has two positions in District 3 (inside the City of Batesville).
Jac Cen Del Community School Corporation and Milan Community School Corporation each have 2 positions to be filled, (one each within the town limits and one each at large.)
South Ripley Community School Corporation has one seat in District 3 (Brown & Shelby Townships); one in District 6 (Within the Town of Versailles); and one in District 7 (Otter Creek Township and Johnson Township including the Town of Versailles.)
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and must have resided in the election district for at least one year before the election. The deadline to declare candidacy is 12 o’clock noon on Friday, August 21, 2020.
