Greensburg, In. — Decatur County prosecutor Nathan Harter says Austin Meisberger has been sentenced to eight years for aggravated battery. Meisberger entered a guilty plea late last year and was recently sentenced.
Decatur County Prosecuting Attorney Nate Harter said, “We are certainly pleased with the outcome of this case. Meisberger will hopefully find the help he needs through the Purposeful Incarceration Program and finish his sentence as a better citizen. It is unfortunate anyone was injured during the event, but we are very glad the victim’s injury is recoverable.”
