SEIMA Project Delayed For Covid-19

SOUTHEASTERN INDIANA – The Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association has made the difficult decision to delay the SEIMA Project (Inspiring Local Music ) by one year.

The Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association’s plan, at this time, is to begin making announcements about the schedule for Video Auditions in the Late Summer and Early Fall of this year (2020). These announcements will be in preparation for us to start receiving your Video Auditions in January of 2021. Be watching and listening to all Social Media including Radio and Community Functions starting then. Please remember that these Video Auditions will be for Instrumentalists and/or Vocalists who live in Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley or Switzerland Counties in Indiana.

There is also an important change in the SEIMA Project criteria. That change is to increase the “years of age” range by 1 year, making it 14 – 19 years of age for the auditions. It is important that no one is excluded due to the circumstances that have affected us all and everyone has an opportunity for the performances and cash award given.

SEIMA will keep in touch with To those musicians who have already made contact to enter and encourage all to audition for our “2021 SEIMA Project and will make every effort to reconnect with you and keep that helping hand out. Please visit SEIMA’s website at www.seimusic.org and use their Email and phone number information for questions, updates and more information. Stay well and keep pursuing your passion for the art and performance of music.
