SEI READI to hold public workshops around the region this week

SOUTHEASTERN IN — SEI READI will host a series of community workshops this week to determine economic development goals for the region, which is made up of Franklin, Ripley (minus the City of Batesville), Dearborn, Union, Ohio, and Switzerland counties.

Workshops are scheduled for Thursday at the Brookville Library from 9 am until Noon and at Ivy Tech Lawrenceburg from 1:30 until 4:30 pm; and on Friday at the Osgood Town Hall from 9 am until Noon and at the Switzerland County Technology and Education Center from 1:30 until 4:30.

SEI READI is aiming to land part of the $500-million allocation from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation to improve quality of life, talent attraction, and innovation in the six-county region.
