GREENSBURG, IN — The Second Annual Cookie Crumbles 5K Walk/Run is set to take off at 9 am on Saturday, March 19 at Rebekah Park in Greensburg.
Sponsored by Decatur County Girl Scouts, this family-friendly event raises money for local Girl Scout programming.
“Let’s go! I’m so excited to have this opportunity to host the second year of the Cookie Crumbles 5K,” said race director Ashley Schwering. “I hope it continues to grow and becomes an annual event our members and community look forward to every year.”
Registrants get a t-shirt and box of classic Girl Scout cookies. This year, any Girl Scout who participates will also earn a patch!
Competitors can compete in a special costume contest featuring five categories: crazy hair, best group, most creative, best family, and best cookie. The contest will be judged by “celebrity” judges.
