(Rising Sun, IN) – A Southeastern Indiana casino may pull up stakes and relocate to the Fort Wayne area.

There are numerous reports circulating that Rising Star Casino Resort in Rising Sun could be moving north to New Haven.

Rising Star’s revenue has been declining over the past several years, and preliminary plans have been made to relocate the gaming license to the city near Fort Wayne.

The Indiana Gaming Commission says Rising Star has been the least profitable casino of the 13 across the state, with an average of $3.2 million in taxable adjusted gross revenue per month.
