Brookville, In. — This week Franklin County was awarded $599,531 from the Community Crossing Grant Program for the repair of roads and bridges.
Officials say the money will be used to fund the overlay, chip-and-seal program and a new bridge on Last Road.
In order to receive the cash, the county will pay a $150,000 match.
