(Brookville, IN) – We have another scam alert to tell you about, but this one centers around a local priest who’s also a world-renowned exorcist.
Several social media accounts have been created, claiming to be set up by Fr. Vince Lampert, the priest at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Brookville and St. Peters Church in Franklin County.
Fr. Lampert served as an exorcist for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis for several years before stepping down in November.
The bogus social media pages claim to offer his services for a fee.
Problem is, Fr. Lampert does not do social media and the only way he can be reached is through email.
A number of people have lost money because of the scam.
