FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ind. — A Rushville resident was airlifted after a single vehicle accident in Franklin County.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department, Janiel D. Jones, 30, was traveling westbound on US 52 near Quarry Road, when for an unknown reason, the vehicle went off the north side of the roadway.
Once off the road, the vehicle continued west striking a mailbox and a rock retaining wall before rolling over. The vehicle came to a rest upright.
Jones was airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Hospital for treatment of injuries.
