Rushville, IN— Rushville’s Riverside Park Amphitheater Board has announced they are canceling the 2020 scheduled shows for this year, with the possible exception of the September 19th concert featuring Electric Avenue, an 80’s MTV Experience, that is to be in conjunction with RushFest / Willkie Days.
The decision was unanimous by the board and was made for the following reasons: to assist local and regional efforts in controlling the spread of Covid19, the safety of the public and our entertainers, a shortage of volunteers due to the pandemic environment, and lastly, concern by volunteers at putting themselves or a close family member in jeopardy due to high-risk conditions that exist among the group.
The Board will continue to monitor the situation to make a final decision on the September 19 event.
