(Greensburg, IN) – The streets of downtown Greensburg were packed during this weekend’s Tree City Fall Festival.
The festivities kicked off Friday night with the crowning of royalty.
Tiffani Gramann was named Miss Tree City 2024. First runner-up is Nikki Harpring; Olivia Howard was chosen second runner-up; third runner-up is Brooklyn Adams, and Morgan Schofield was named Miss Congeniality.
Tynira Johnson won Junior Miss. Sashia McIntosh was picked as first runner-up; the second runner-up is Sophia Robbins; Chloe Kramer was named third runner-up, and Miss Congeniality went to Lana Wall.
This year’s Little Miss is Alivia Colin. Madison Moore won first runner-up; second runner-up and Miss Congeniality is Kyzleigh Robbins, and Mila Cleland was named third runner-up.
Little Mister this year is Blade West. Braxton Hollin was chosen first runner-up and Mr. Personality, and Maxwell Cudworth is second runner-up.
Checks and trophies were awarded to the top entries in Saturday’s Herb Kohler Memorial Parade.
This year’s Grand Marshal was the family of Merrill Smith, who passed away in May at the age of 71.
Merrill Smith played a huge role in organizing and overseeing the growth of the parade and the festival for a number of years.
His sense of humor was honored by the awarding of the inaugural “Ham it up” trophy for the funniest parade entry, which was presented to 3 Frogs Bakery.
The following top three parade entries received trophies and monetary prizes:
- 1st place – Decatur County Parks and Recreation, $200.
- 2nd place – Living Waters Ministry, $125.
- 3rd place – Greensburg High School Class of 1984, $75.
The theme of this year’s parade was “Heroes Among Us.”
