Ronald Lawrence Voegele, 76, of Martinsville, entered eternal rest on Friday, September 6th, 2024, at the Franciscan Hospice House in Indianapolis with loved ones by his side. He was born on Thursday, August 5th, 1948, in Batesville, Indiana to the late Lawrence N. and Altarose (Riehle) Voegele.
Mr. Voegele was a graduate of Batesville High School and received his MBA from Butler University. He was Chief Financial Officer and part owner of Mallory Sonalert Products, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He enjoyed wood carving, prairie restoration, and was an avid outdoorsman. He had an appreciation for nature and was a member of the Mallory Conservation Club in Mooresville, Indiana.
He leaves behind a host of loving family including his wife of nearly 36 years, Carolyn (Sankey) Voegele. He and Carolyn were united in marriage on September 10, 1988; she survives in Martinsville. Other survivors include his son, Scott Voegele (wife, Cynthia) of Naperville, Illinois; daughter, Tricia Dowler (husband, Marc) of Brownsburg, Indiana; stepson, Sebert Jackson, Jr. (wife, Diana) of Indianapolis, Indiana and stepdaughter, DeAnna Kouns (husband, Steve) of Mooresville, Indiana; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and four sisters, Carol Baker (husband, Bob) of Sunman, Indiana, Nancy Metz (husband, Darrell), Linda Riggs (husband, Floyd) and Janet Meer (husband, Ted) all of Batesville, Indiana.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, September 12th, 2024, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Neal & Summers Funeral & Cremation Center in Martinsville. A service celebrating his life will begin at 7:00 pm Thursday, immediately following the visitation at the funeral home, and officiated by his son-in-law, Pastor Marc Dowler. He will be laid to rest on Friday, September 13th, 2024, in Friendship Park Cemetery in Paragon, Indiana.
