Ronald L. Bessler, age 81 of West Harrison and formerly of Oldenburg, died Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Shawneespring of Harrison care facility. Born April 13, 1940 in Batesville, he is the son of Mildred (Nee: Moorman) and Joseph Bessler. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and after the service became a systems analyst at 5/3 Bank for five years and then for the University of Cincinnati 20 years before retiring in 1996.
He is survived by his brother Paul (Electa) Bessler of West Harrison and nephew Ian Bessler of Seattle, Washington. He is preceded in death by his parents. A private visitation and service will be held. It will be live streamed at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1st. Memorials may be made to the University of Cincinnati.
