BATESVILLE, IN — Rohe Construction has mapped out road work which will start in downtown Batesville next week.
Crews will begin working on the water main at Boehringer and Walnut streets on Tuesday, January 4. The intersection is expected to remain open. The construction crew will work its way east on Boehringer to Main Street. This section of Boehringer will be closed for about a week.
Rohe Construction will then move south to East Pearl Street, with both intersections closed until the project is finished. Completion is expected to take two weeks.
There will be one crosswalk open for pedestrians to cross Main Street between Boehringer and East Pearl during the project.
All work is weather-dependent.
