Robert “Bob” J. Wesseler, of Connersville, formerly of Brookville, was born on December 20, 1926 in Brookville, the son of Henry and Minnie Wilhelm Wesseler. After graduating High School, he served his country during World War II with the United States Army. He later worked for Visteon in Connersville, retiring after 30 years of service. After retirement he acquired a passion for model trains, and could be found in his basement building and playing for hours. Bob was a member of The Connersville American Legion Post #1, and enjoyed being outdoors – camping, boating and skiing. The family could always count on their Dad to take them on a trip each summer, as he also loved to travel. On Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the age of 91, Bob passed away at Brookville Healthcare.
