Bro. Delbert Jay Miller

Bro. Delbert Jay Miller, age 16, of Bennington, Indiana, entered this life on January 11, 2001, in Urbana, Illinois, the loving son of, Joseph Lynn and Dena Ann (Herschberger) Miller. He was attending the Evening Light Christian School in Bennington, Indiana, where he was in the 11th grade. Bro. Delbert was employed with his father’s business, Milbon Contractors for the past six months. He resided in the Arthur, Illinois community and in the Switzerland County community since August 2008. Bro. Delbert was a member of the Church of God in Bennington, Indiana. Bro. Delbert enjoyed hunting and fishing and will be deeply missed by his loving family, his church family and friends. Delbert passed away at 1:27 am, Thursday, December 21, 2017, on State Road 129 at State Road 62 in Cross Plains, Indiana.

Bro. Delbert is survived by his loving parents, Joseph Lynn and Dena Ann (Herschberger) Miller of Bennington, IN; his siblings, Verna Kay Miller, Dale Ray Miller, Judy Ranae Miller, Jolena Faye Miller, Caleb Eugene Miller, Dean Ryan Miller and Joshua David Miller all of Bennington, IN; his paternal grandparents, Gary and Verna Miller of Arthur, IL; his maternal grandparents, Andy Ray and Ada Fern Herschberger of Windsor, MO; his paternal-great-grandmother, Mary Ann Mast of Arthur, IL and his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 24, 2017, at 11:00 am, by Bro. Lonnie Bontrager at the Church of God Restoration Church, 5065 State Road 49 South Greenville, Ohio 45331.

Interment will follow in the Church of God Restoration Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio.

Friends may call 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the Church of God, 14224 Pleasant Grove Road Bennington, Indiana 47011 and from 10: 00 am until time of service on Sunday, December 24, 2017, at the Church of God Restoration Church, 5065 State Road 49 South Greenville, Ohio 45331.
