RIPLEY COUNTY, IN — Snow accumulations and below freezing temperatures are impacting travel, and have caused hazardous road conditions. As a result, Ripley County Commissioners have declared a “Yellow” travel advisory is in effect Friday afternoon through Noon on Saturday.
In addition, Franklin County is under a Yellow travel advisory until further notice.
A Yellow advisory is the lowest level of local travel advisories. This means routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation. Residents should use caution in those areas.
