(Ripley County, IN) – Ripley County EMS will offer an EMT course next month.
Beginning February 4, classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with three prescheduled Saturdays.
The course is designed to prepare you to pass the EMT National Registry Exam, which then qualifies you for Indiana EMT certification.
Through this course, you’ll also complete the National Association of EMTs (NAEMT) Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), and Emergency Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS) courses, as well as the Indiana Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC).
The cost is $1,000 which includes all books and materials for the course, a polo shirt to be worn during clinical phases of instruction, and fees associated with testing.
