With school beginning next month, health officials in Ripley County say it is time to check your vaccination records and make sure they are up-to-date.
Ripley County Health Department has announced the implementation of a medical billing program and is now offering immunizations and TB tests.
Individuals eligible include those not only uninsured or on Medicaid, but also Anthem, Cigna/Sagamore and Tricare card holders.
There will be a $5.00 charge for a TB test beginning August 1.
The health department is in the credentialing process for other insurance providers and will offer immunizations as soon as approved. For more information access the Ripley County Health Department website.
Immunizations are available by appointment which can be scheduled by calling (812) 689-0506. Insurance card and identification must be presented at time of vaccination.
