Richard “Red” Grubb Jr. of Versailles passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. Richard was born Thursday, April 9, 1953 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Richard Grubb Sr. and Mary (Blunk) Grubb. He married his loving wife Darlene (Rohrig) Grubb in 1995. Richard served his country in the United States Navy for 12 years. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and thoroughly enjoyed genealogy. Richard, along with his wife, was actively involved in their own organization, A Mission to Forgotten Person.
Richard is survived by wife Darlene of Versailles; brother Hank Grubb of Leesburg, Florida; and sister Lynn Ricks of Villages, Florida; nieces Kristen, Wendy, and Amber; nephew Gary F.; great-nieces Angel, Chelena, Olivia, Kylee, and Bethany; great-nephews Brian, Eric, and Gary. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 AM on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with full military rites by the Milan Legion Post #235. A funeral service will be held immediately after at 11 AM with Pastor Matthew Bruns officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Richard Grubb to the Grubb family.
