Richard L. “Dick” Personette, age 77, of Liberty, Indiana died suddenly Monday, February 27, 2018 at University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born July 26, 1940 in Metamora, Indiana he was the son of the late Milton & Cora (Wolfe) Personette. On November 2, 1974 he was united in marriage to the former Nancy Lattire, and she survives.
Dick was retired from Sperry Rubber & Plastics in Brookville where he had worked for over 40 years. He had also farmed for many years.
In his leisure time he enjoyed watching Indiana University college basketball, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cincinnati Reds. He also enjoyed the outdoors and taking care of his animals.
Besides Nancy, his loving wife of over 43 years, survivors include a son, Rick Personette of Brookville, Indiana; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Lattire, Norma Yingst, and Judy Lattire; two brothers-in-law, Jim Lattire and Robert Percival; an aunt, Pauline Wiggins of Liberty, Indiana; as well as several cousins, nieces & nephews.
Family & friends may visit from 9:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
