Above all, he was a family man, and his favorite title was Pap. In 1970 Rich and Nancy lost twin girls (Nikki and Vikki), but welcomed a red-headed daughter two years later (Christa) and three years later a red-headed son (Eric). Their children blessed them with five grandchildren (Liz, Megan, Mike, Luke, and Annie), four great grandchildren (Arthur, Oskar, Katara, and Maylynn), to all of whom he was a best friend.
